Fall its important for you to have strong nutrients coming in to fuel you as the season is changing. Eating fall fruits like apples, pears, plums and citrus is great to keep you going. Also soups and stews are good to keep you healthy and happy. One they are rich in vitamins and nutrients but they are also cooked slower which is great for easy digestion. Vitamins such as Vitamin D3, help fight off infections and keep your immune system going strong. Vitamin C is great to help the recovery from colds and flus, however, it won't help prevent them, because of the fact that your body won't be using the amount of vitamin C to do anything and so it will just pass it. So taking extra amounts now won't do too much, hold off for now. Glutathione is an amino acid that recharges antioxidants after your body uses them, so taking it with vitamin C when you are sick gives you an extra antioxidant boost. When you’re getting sick, you have more oxidative stress and more free radicals to quench. So adding this amino acid can help out. Zinc!!! Zinc is a great if you remember to take it when you first get sick. But if you miss your 24 hour window it might be a little too late.
